In Response to Jaycelyn's post...

Should Google have made this switch or should Google have kept the Android Market as it was?
I believe it was wise for Google to separate itself from such a closed market. Being the first to integrate into other devices is a wise marketing strategy. With so many apps and programs on the market today, people complain about not being able to use certain Android apps on their Apple devices and vice-versa, especially when it comes to various information systems. By making its apps more universal, Google has encouraged a simpler flow of data between devices and overall a more efficient method.
